Swope - legendary guitarist, vocalist, composer, and veteran of the
Midwest's rock and club scene, Terry has been a fixture on stages in Kansas City
and across the country for decades. He's one of a kind, and from soul to shred, you'll never forget the
way he makes his axe sing.
Terry Swope's been a player forever. Way back in 1973, some strange but kind hand of
fate brought the JPT Scare Band together
- and when Terry and the boys sorted it
all out, Swope and his black Fender Strat discovered a completely unique and indefinable
organic energy that you will hear him express in his music. Awash ever since in an avalanche of Swope
riffs, the Midwest has never been the same. He's soul with substance - and he's also a super nice guy.
Terry
has performed with legendary acts like the KC Bottoms Band, Nervous Rex, and
Boko Maru. Besides playing with the Aces, he plays out with other bands.
