Ever
have an off night in front of thousands of paying customers? Here's Van Halen on
a recent tour - Greenboro, NC; 10/07. They used a sequencer to play the backing
tracks for "Jump" - and played the tracks back at 48K instead of 44.1K - way out
of tune. Eddie Van Halen tries desperately on the fly to find frets that
will work - but the pitch shift is in between keys. Sad.

Think
that Japan doesn't rock? Here's an orchestra from the Land of the Rising Sun
playing a decidedly non-occidental
version of Smoke On The Water. This is
of course nothing like Deep Purple's Made In Japan arrangement
(here's David Coverdale
trying hard to match that) - - and definitely not the
Kansas City
World Record version. Not sure if the Aces will be playing any of
these versions - but you never
know. Ask us - we might surprise you!Mysterious Traveler Entrances Town With Utopian Vision Of The Future
